Terms of service
These terms apply to your use of thepawcloset.com and to any order you place with The Paw Closet (“we”, “us”, “our”). By visiting the site or buying from us, you agree to these terms and to the policies linked from them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.
Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides the online platform we use to sell to you.
1. Using our store
You must be at least the age of majority where you live, or have the consent of a parent or guardian, to buy from us. You agree not to use the site or our products for any unlawful purpose, and not to transmit viruses or other harmful code. We may end your access if you breach these terms.
2. General conditions
We may refuse service to anyone, at any time, for any lawful reason. Card details are always encrypted when sent over networks. You may not copy, resell or exploit any part of the site without our written permission. Headings in these terms are for convenience only.
3. Accuracy of information
We aim to keep the information on this site accurate and current, but it is provided for general guidance. Older information may remain on the site for reference and is not necessarily up to date.
4. Changes to prices and the site
Prices can change without notice. We may change or discontinue any part of the site or any product at any time. The price you pay is the price shown at checkout when you place your order.
5. Products, sizing and pet safety
- We show colours and details as accurately as we can, but screens vary and we can't guarantee that what you see matches the product exactly.
- Size charts show recommended measurements for your dog (for example, the chest measurements each size is intended for), worked out from our suppliers' hand-taken garment measurements. Back length and similar figures are the item's own measurements. Measurements can vary slightly, so allow a small tolerance. Choosing the right size for your dog is your responsibility.
- Our products are everyday pet apparel and accessories. They are not veterinary, medical or safety devices.
- Check the fit before each use, supervise your dog while they are wearing any item, and remove it if your dog seems uncomfortable, overheated or restricted, or if the item is damaged.
- We may limit the quantities sold per person, household or order, and some products may be available only in certain regions.
6. Orders, billing and account information
We may refuse, limit or cancel an order, for example if it appears to be placed by a reseller or if there is a pricing or stock error. If we change or cancel your order, we'll contact you using the details you gave at checkout and refund anything you have paid for items we can't supply. You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase, contact and delivery details.
7. Shipping, returns and refunds
Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy, and returns and refunds by our Returns & Refunds Policy. Both form part of these terms.
8. Third-party tools and links
The site may give you access to third-party tools or link to third-party websites that we don't control. We provide these as they are, without warranties, and you use them at your own risk and under the third party's own terms.
9. Reviews, comments and other submissions
If you send us reviews, photos, comments or suggestions, you allow us to use, edit, publish and share them in any medium without payment. Your submissions must be your own, must not be unlawful, abusive or misleading, and must not infringe anyone else's rights. We may remove content at our discretion.

11. Errors and omissions
Occasionally the site may contain an error in a description, price, promotion, delivery charge, delivery time or availability. We may correct errors and update information, and change or cancel an affected order, including after it has been submitted.
12. Prohibited uses
You must not use the site to break any law, infringe intellectual property rights, harass or discriminate against others, submit false information, upload malicious code, collect other people's personal information, send spam, scrape the site, or interfere with its security.
13. Intellectual property
The Paw Closet name, logo, site design, text and images belong to us or our licensors. You may not use them without our written permission.
14. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
We don't guarantee that the site will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or our products.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under consumer law that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law. Where our liability can be limited but not excluded, it is limited to replacing the product or refunding the price you paid.
15. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify The Paw Closet and its related parties against third-party claims, including reasonable legal fees, that arise from your breach of these terms or your violation of any law or another person's rights.
16. Severability
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, that part is removed and the rest continues to apply.
17. Termination
These terms apply until ended by you or by us. You can end them by no longer using the site. We may end them without notice if we reasonably believe you have breached them. Obligations that arose before termination continue to apply.
18. Entire agreement
These terms and the policies we publish on this site are the entire agreement between you and us about your use of the site, and replace any earlier versions. If we don't enforce a right, that is not a waiver of it.
19. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia.
20. Changes to these terms
The current version of these terms is always available on this page. We may update them by posting changes here, and your continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
